Jane is a fantastic French tutor who combines a real passion for the language with a genuine commitment to helping her students improve.
What I particularly appreciated was the way she adapted the pace and content of the lessons to suit me. She made sure I developed a solid foundation in grammar and vocabulary, while also bringing the language to life through French culture and everyday conversation. She was particularly good at tailoring lessons to what I wanted to use French for, including getting me to feel more confident speaking French on my holidays.
Jane is also very committed to making sure her students take responsibility for their own progress. She encourages you to do a little work between lessons, which really helped reinforce what we covered and gave the lessons some continuity from week to week.

I recently did a short course (10 lessons) in French with Jane, to brush up my GCSE (a long time ago)-level French before a holiday. Jane is very organised and tailored our lessons to what would be most useful on a holiday, as well as focusing on my pronunciation and helping me revise important grammar.
